Rockets Get 2nd Overall Pick in Draft

The Kelowna Rockets will select 2nd overall in the upcoming Western Hockey League bantam draft.

The league held it's draft lottery this morning, with the Portland Winter Hawks earning the number one overall pick, followed by the Rockets at #2 and the expansion Edmonton Oil Kings with the third overall selection.

The Rockets have picked higher than #2 in the W.H.L bantam draft.

The Rockets had the first pick overall in 1991, selecting Adam Smith.


The bantam draft goes next month.
