Dowzak Still In AHL

The Hartford Wolf Pack re-assigned 19 players today, and Tysen Dowzak wasn't one of them. Dowzak remains one of 9 defenseman on the Wolf Packs roster.

General manager Cliff Fletcher confirmed the decision Monday, adding that the NHL team has also put forward Mark Bell on waivers.

It looks like we won't be seeing either of those two. Too bad about Schenn. The way the Toronto media is, one bad game and it will be like feeding him to the wolves. I hope Wilson looks out for him.

Too often ( Blackburn and Brule examples) kids go to the NHL too soon and it ends up hurting them in the end. I hope this doesn't happen with Schenn.

Fletcher may only have this year in T.O. if Burke jumps from the Ducks so I doubt if the future of the Leafs is his concern. Plus he traded up to draft Luke. Luke stays I'll bet. He will not improve in the WHL. Tyson should stay in the minors. Three years in the WHL is enough. He is big enough and strong enough to play at a higher level. Kelowna needs to acquire some muscle to look after the flock however. Who should it be?
