Duval Bison Bound

Rockets forward Ian Duval has committed to playing with the Manitoba Bisons next season. The 21 year-old still has the option of attending an NHL training camp as a free agent, but from my understanding he hasn't received any offers to this point. I think NHL teams will have a better idea of how many free agents they can bring to training camp after the NHL draft later this month, so hopefully Duval will get an invite then.
I know for a fact that many scouts talked glowingly about his play in the 26 regular season games he played with the Rockets (10+20=30), and the ten goals he put up in 22 post season games also grabbed their attention.

Thats great news for Duval, taking advantage of the Dubs education program, but I thought he would get an invite to a pro camp somewhere!! Glad to hear the WHL is forcing all arena's to have video screens, I believe the fans in Kelowna are long overdue for this, we've been very supportive of the Rockets for a long time & to see other teams in the leaque with their arenas half full have them & ours sold out night after night without one is a dam shame. Thanks to the WHL brass for stepping in. I wonder if Bruce had any say in this matter?? LOL
