Cally signs contract

Mitchell Callahan has signed an NHL contract with the Detroit Red Wings. It's a three year deal. Terms were not disclosed.
I spoke to Callahan moments ago.

...ah ouais DJ, t'es complètement correcte. mitch a prouvé qu'il est réellement un enfant super de californie dès le début de ses jours à Kelowna. On croit que tout le monde est exicté pour lui voir joindre son choeur.. ils ont vraiment besoin de son voix d'une ange! =)

Hey Regan - I suppose this means he'll be playing in the AHL next season or with the Wings should he make it?? Good for him, not so good for the Rockets!!

g.k., I believe he will be too young for the AHL, which means he'll have to make the "bigs" to move up or play back here in Kelowna...and I think we'd all agree that to make Detroit next year Cally would have to be a magician...I'm fairly certain his contract will be like Benn's where he sign's and then when he's ready to make the jump Detroit starts paying him...I'm almost positive he'll be here at least one more season (maybe even two!) Just my take on things!
