Barrie named to WHL roster

Despite playing in only three games this season, Kelowna Rockets defenceman Tyson Barrie is getting a chance to prove he should wear Canadian colours at Christmas.
Barrie has been named to Team WHL for the annual Subway Super Series against the Russian Selects.
Games featuring Team WHL and the Russians will take place next month in Kamloops and Prince George.
The players participating in the Subway Super Series all have a legitimate shot of getting an invite to Team Canada's main camp in December for the possibility of representing our country at the World Junior Hockey Championships in Buffalo New York.
