Rockets game notes vs. Americans

Tonight’s Preview: The Kelowna Rockets are meeting the Tri City Americans for the 4th and final time this season. The Rockets are 1-2-0-0 in the first three games, having been out-scored 8-7. All three games have been decided by a single goal with two of the three games ending in 4-3 scores. The Rockets are playing the 3rd game of a three game home stand, having split the first two games after a 1-0 loss to Chilliwack last Friday and a 5-3 win over Lethbridge Saturday night. Following tonight’s game the Rockets play three games in three nights with games in Kamloops Friday, hosting the Blazers Saturday before traveling to Chilliwack on Sunday. Five of the final seven games of the season are against teams in the BC Division. The Rockets enter tonight’s tilt having won five of their last six games. Over that period the Rockets have out-scored their opponent 19-11.

Rockets recent game: The Rockets received two goals from Tyson Barrie in a 5-3 win over the Lethbridge Hurricanes Saturday night. Geordie Wudrick scored his 38th of the season while Zach Franko (18) and Spencer Main (10) added singles. Lethbridge out-shot the Rockets 31-25. Kelowna was 3 for 4 on the power play while the Hurricanes went 2 for 9 with the extra man.

Who’s Hot: Colton Sissons has 15 points (5+10=15) in his last ten games….Geordie Wudrick has 13 points (9+4=13) in his last ten games.
