Rockets game notes vs. Blazers

Tonight’s Preview: The Kelowna Rockets play their 49th game of the season tonight when they host the Kamloops Blazers. Surprisingly, this is only the fourth of eight meetings between these two teams this season. The Rockets are 0-3-0-0 against Kamloops this season, with losses 3-2 (Oct 16), 5-2 (Oct 28) and 4-3 (Oct 29). Overall the Blazers have out-scored the Rockets 12-7 in the first three games. Kelowna is playing game four of five straight on home ice. The Rockets conclude the home stand against Seattle Friday night before visiting the T-Birds on Sunday. The Rockets enter tonight’s game with three wins in their last nine home games. Despite the lack of success at home, the Rockets have points in eleven of their last sixteen road games (8-5-1-2). Overall, the Rockets have won six of their last ten games.

Captain Colton Sissons is ranked 14th among North American skaters for this summer’s draft.
