Rockets pic's as we roll along

Jesse Lees (front) and Tanner Moar (rear) bring in the stick bag as the Rockets make a stop in Calgary this afternoon for a quick practice before making their way to Lethbridge.
Once inside the Father David Bauer Arena, I ran into Kris Lazaruk and Dylan Hood, two former Rockets that are now playing for the University of Calgary Dino's. Here is a close look at Lazaruk's mask.
Here is the other side.

Nice mask. I wish Hamilton would let our goalies have sweet masks instead of the boring old white ones.

Jaz, I've come to like the white mask on the Kelowna Goaltenders. That tradition is what has given the Rockets the goaltenders we do. The reason they are not aloud to pain their mask is because Hamilton feels that it makes goaltenders feel too comfortable with their position with the club, making them play not as well as if they always have that feeling like they could be traded at any given moment. It's a great mind game/strategy if you ask me.
