Whistle mentioned by NHLCS

Jackson Whistle....NHL scouts are watching. The 17 year-old saw his name mentioned Tuesday in NHL Central Scouting Preliminary rankings. Whistle is rated 7th among draft eligible goaltenders in the WHL. Whistle has surprised many with his strong play this season after being acquired from the Vancouver Giants. Whistle came over to the Rockets with little fan fair. It clearly looked like the Giants gave up on him, and if the truth be known, they probably did. Regardless, the change of scenery has looked good on the West Kelowna resident who is now the only undefeated goalie in the WHL.

I would be surprised if his stock doesn't rise come the end of season rankings.

If whistle keeps playing like he does when he gets a start could we see a battle for the #1 goaltender spot?
